About PROGRESSIVE APTITUDE TEST (PAT)

Progressive Aptitude Test (PAT) was developed by Indian Mental Health & Research Centre and Indian Progressive Youth Forum in 2015. It helps student gain important and new insights into what type of careers would motivate them. PAT takes career testing to a whole new level with its unique results; students can find which real, live careers are best fit for them. PAT also offers students new insight into what they are naturally drawn towards and help them to develop this into a satisfying career.

By appearing in PAT, aspirants at school level, are able to map their inherent strength in term of one’s aptitude, personality and interest. While at college level and beyond it is generally the skill profile and the personality profile of the individual that matters most.

PAT scores candidates on the basis of Quantitative and Qualitative Ability, Reading Comprehension, Computer, General Studies, Logical Reasoning and a specially designed Psychometric test.

The PAT assessment is based on extensive validity and reliability testing by number of psychologists including correlating the result to the Strong Interest Inventory, which helps aspirants to find the right career that matches one’s unique assessment profile.
